Welcome
Weddings by their very nature are expensive affairs, and couples who are organising their marriage celebrations want assurance that the service providers they choose are indeed professionals in their field. Concerned about the number of 'fly-by-nights' entering the South African wedding industry over the past few years, Pam Black - founder of the highly regarded wedding resource centre, Celebration House, and organiser for the past 12 years of the annual Cape Town Wedding Festival - has been the driving force behind the newly-formed Wedding & Honeymoon Association of South Africa (WAHASA).
As all WAHASA members have agreed to comply with a very strict Code of Conduct, those who engage the services of their members can rest assured, knowing that they are dealing with reliable professionals in the wedding industry.
The Wedding & Honeymoon Association of South Africa (WAHASA), was officially launched at The Cape Town Wedding Festival which took place from 26-28 April 2008 at the V&A Waterfront.
